So you’re having a party and you need a decent, affordable, Gatsby, 1920s/‘30s, jazz swing band for drinks/dinner/dancing. And maybe a party disco afterwards. Or you need music for a funeral/wake. So who you gonna call? A London agent? There are loads on Google. Or an actual band? ‘The Gershwin Gang’ is a local, affordable, full-time, professional, Gatsby jazz band. We’ve been playing at weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events around the Rhondda Valley and all across South Wales for 25 years; most recently at Portland House in Cardiff, the Marriott Hotel Swansea and Picton Castle near Haverfordwest. But we also play in village halls, company offices and in private homes and marquees in the garden.
