So you’re having a party in Huddersfield and you need to hire a decent, affordable, Gatsby, 1920s/‘30s, jazz swing band for drinks/dinner/dancing. And maybe a party disco afterwards. Or you need music for a funeral/wake. So who you gonna call? A London agent? There are loads on Google. Or an actual band? ‘The Gershwin Gang’ is a local, affordable, full-time, professional, Gatsby jazz band. We’ve been playing at weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events in Huddersfield and around West Yorkshire for 25 years; most recently at the Queens Hotel in Leeds, Briar Court Hotel and Cedar Court Hotel near Bradford. But we also play in village halls, company offices and in private homes and marquees in the garden.
