“Lovely night! Many thanks for being part of our 50th birthday celebration. Please pass on our thanks to your band.” (Sue – 29/8)
Vintage glamour. Live jazz. Unforgettable occasions.
Bring the golden age of jazz to your celebration with a live Gatsby jazz band. Our South Wales musicians are coordinated by band leader Selwyn who is based in our head office. So you get musicians who know your area and have probably already performed at your venue (unless you are celebrating at home!) – so you save on both travelling costs and agency fees.
From elegant wedding receptions and milestone birthdays to sophisticated corporate events and intimate funeral wakes, we create the perfect atmosphere for every occasion — with timeless music, vintage style and a performance your guests will remember.
Available nationwide using local musicians – but we are NOT an agency.
🎷 Weddings
Give your wedding that unmistakable Gatsby sparkle.
Welcome your guests with sophisticated jazz, create an unforgettable drinks reception or keep the celebrations swinging into the evening. We can tailor our performance to suit your venue, schedule and style.

Impress clients, colleagues and guests with live entertainment that stands apart.
Our Gatsby-style band is ideal for dinners, awards evenings, Christmas parties, networking events, product launches and company celebrations, adding elegance and energy without overwhelming your event.
🕊️ Funeral Wakes & Celebrations of Life
Music can provide a meaningful and comforting backdrop when remembering someone special.
We offer a tasteful, sensitive live jazz service for funeral wakes and celebrations of life, with music chosen to reflect the atmosphere you want — from gentle background jazz to much-loved songs and appropriate period favourites.
We understand the importance of getting the tone exactly right and will work closely with you or your event organiser.
The Gatsby Experience
Think vintage sophistication, elegant live musicians and the irresistible sound of classic jazz.
Our repertoire can include swing favourites, jazz standards, Dixieland classics, popular songs with a vintage twist and music from the golden age of the 1920s and 1930s.
We can perform as a compact ensemble for intimate venues or provide a fuller band sound for larger celebrations.
