Yes, you can afford The Gershwin Gang for your wedding/birthday party/corporate event/funeral wake this year. We are the right Gatsby swing jazz band for you because:
- We are a Cumbrian jazz band, not a London agency charging commission on all bookings;
- We have played at every local venue you can name including Armathwaite Hall Hotel, Storrs Hall Hotel and the Lakes Court Hotel. But we also play in village halls, company offices and in private homes and marquees in the garden;
- We know all the songs from the swing, 1920s, Gatsby jazz era (Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, ‘The Charleston’, ‘Putting On The Ritz’) – but we also play more modern music in a jazzy style e.g. Elton John, Michael Buble etc;
- We provide a FREE party disco afterwards featuring your favourite playlist – so you get a jazz band AND disco, all for the price of one!
- We bring everything we need – so you don’t have to hire a PA or lights or staging;
- Our band leader is helpful, knowledgeable – and won’t mess you around.
